That commitment is shown in many ways, including documented quality control and weld procedures (available for review), a team approach to customers' projects; and our recognition of the importance of good communication with the customer. To facilitate this we assign a Project Manager to each order to represent you throughout the production cycle.
Our commitment to continuous improvement has led us naturally to certification by the American Institute of Steel Construction. EDCO, Inc. is now certified by AISC to have the personnel, organization, experience, capability and commitment to meet the requirements of the Steel Building Structures and Simple Bridges categories. We have thrived on offering diverse design/build, fabrication and machining services to our customers and the AISC Certification is another step in providing diverse manufacturing services to our commercial and government customers.
As a diversified manufacturing enterprise we provide a wide range of services and products. We will build from your existing design or provide design support from concept through production. Our products include manufactured prototypes, production runs, tooling, machined parts, assembled original equipment and machinery, structural and architectural fabrications, etc. We work in mild steel, steel alloys, stainless steel, aluminum, magnesium, plastics, and wood. Other services include consulting, design and development, assembly and sub-assembly. We offer an extensive metal fabrication shop, machine shop, and plastics and assembly shops. Our company was founded in 1976. Our current plant facilities are located in Mount Vernon, Washington, about 70 miles north of Seattle, just west of Interstate 5. We have over 24,000 square feet of manufacturing space in three buildings, with separate office facilities. We employ from 40 to 65 people, depending on workload. EDCO, Inc. has a strong financial and resource base. We continually invest in plant, equipment, and people to insure our ability to meet your requirements.
